TruePath Advising was founded in 2025 by Tyler Schall after spending 3-4 years building up another firm that he was not an owner of. He oversaw the creation and implementation of investment models, client education, and improving overall client interactions with the firm.

The main goal of TruePath Advising is to build an advisement firm that all feel welcome at where they can get common sense simplified advice, education and guidance from a close relationship with their trusted advisor.

Why does TruePath Advising focus on simplicity?

When Tyler was at his previous firm they were always looking for the next fancy thing that they could pitch and sell and they called it getting a competitive edge. This approach tended to be an over complication of what should be a simple process for clients. Also, for this service they charged a premium fee and adding additional managers and complicated investments to the accounts increased their already high fees.

Also since they are always looking for new investments to sell to clients, there where waves of signing people up for the new product then it fell to the side when the new one comes along. This led the founder of TruePath Advising to feel these products were for sale and not always in the clients best interest. 

After working at this old firm for more than 3 years the Founder of TruePath Advising decided that he wanted to do things differently, do things properly. Focus on education and stability for the every day family or business owner.
